1995 SE Racing OM Flyer Enduro 26
1995 SE Racing OM Flyer Enduro 26
Low serial number, high-end cruiser
I scored the frame, Landing Gear and SE bars as a Christmas present last year from my wife. The previous owner bought the frameset new and never got around to building it up. It had never had a bearing pressed in nor a component mounted! Frame is #9 of the 3rd gen OM Flyers, serial number OM009. It's an Enduro frame, meaning it has 135mm rear spacing for a multi speed, but I wanted to build it as a single speed cruiser. I also wanted to it to have a vintage look and feel, but have more modern components. Everything on it is either new or NOS. Here’s the list: Paul hubs (front FHUB, rear WORD), Paul Moto BMX brakes and compact Love Levers, Profile 40th anniversary Retro Cranks with Profile Spider and Profile 44T chainwheel, Profile polished quill stem, Hutch Beartrap Pedals, Tioga Beartrap II headset, Retro BMX custom designed seat with baby blue lightning bolt, Promax seatpost, SE skinwall tires, Sun rims, Shimano 18T freewheel, Profile chain tensioners, A’me tri grips. I think it turned out pretty sweet, and it rides like a dream.

The seat tube angle reminds me of a Texas Fireman's Cruzer.
