You know it, Nick!  I'm stoked that you're stoked!

lol I'm stoked because you're stoked!! It's what you've been looking for! Mojo and the OS 20s are killer bikes, but I knew you wouldn't rest until you had a 24 big_smile

You know me too well, my friend!  I happened into a bit of money, and truly wasn't looking to buy anything bike-related.  When I saw the ad for the frame set, I had to open my big mouth and ask, "Can you show me pics of the non-drive side?"  It was all downhill after that!

Says the TT is longer and it's a little heavier than a Pro. Does it use 24" Mini Jr. Wheels?

That's a 20" Pro in the center of the ad. The S-24 is the only 24" on there.

Interesting looking at some of the other stuff too--a Pro-X just looks like a Freestyle frame with an SRX fork, and the official name of the bars is "Powergrip" not "Powerbend"! coolcool

Yep, which is why it's so important to be able to access the old ads.  It's very interesting to use them to learn about the many oddities and contradictions that make up the lost history of BMX.

Oh yeah I did think that Pro in the middle was a 24" anyways that's right it is helpful to have these old ads and catalogs.
Should be a sweet ride Perront!

Thanks, Bill.  For a minute, neither of us understood each other.  It happens!

I see what you're saying about the geo of the 24" frames. Looks like the S-24 is actually more modern, like you said, with smaller standover--should be a blast to ride!

Thanks Bill! I was kinda on the fence on the gold wheels but with some gold titanium hardware here and there and a gold chain it balances out. big_smile

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.

Calling it done. 2001 P19. Built some cheap wheels using some Sun ZX-25 rims I had lying around, and some cheap old school Valisum hubs from Ebay. Had to convert the front to loose bearing and 3/8" axle, as it came with an 8mm/5/16" axle. Got the hubs because they reminded me of old GT Race Lace hubs. Look better than the mismatched cheap black wheels it had. Added some NOS early 2000's GT flame grips, a Piston stem, GT platform pedals, and a Haro seat I had lying around. Some Duro tires. Not bad for just over $100 all in. Originally bought it just because I thought it looked cool. Have to get some better pics when the weather gets nicer.http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/260302/20191214_1728345df5b62a77.jpg
