so you don't think your chromoly frame is chrome plated ? what do you think the chrome is then ? no worries man it is your bike after all . i just feel bad for the finish on it . i'm out ....

sweet! those pads NOS NIB sold for $232 about a month ago.some guy had one of those in his garage complete red and didnt get it because i really wanted an old chrome frame now i got one i want the old red frame now.

Hey BadBill...I'll dig out the 20" again soon so I can shoot a few more pics for ya. It's a nice comfy ride. Long rearend with a 22" TT!! I'm 6'3" and it fits great!
Freedo.....please get that 26" on the track and shoot some pics for us!! Would love to see it in action!
Lovin the Powerlites!! I grew up about 2 blocks from Peddlepower in Orange. We used to go by there all the time to drool over the goods. Just wish we could have bought a pile of it back then and kept it!! I had an '83 expert 20" that I picked up used. It eventually was cut up to build a chopper!!! idiot....
I apologize to all Powerlite and Mongoose collectors and fans....I was young and stoned.
'83 Powerlite rear and an early nickel plated Mongoose.

i can't believe you did that! you should be hung by your nuts and bolts MAN i coulda totally restored that no seriously what you made was creative and i know you wouldnt have felt as safe if you used some murray and huffys right? nice freekin squareback i got a rado would be cool to have a notch same year as yours.
also at least you didnt cut up the 24" racer that might win best of the page award! Crazy Clean!
