Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.
So I thought I would make one then. What's up Powerlite People? Well I have the BMX bug and this bike right here started for me all over again. It's a 1996 P-38! 20.5"tt stock with optional hop-ups like the pads and cranks.I bought it from the original owner, sold it to a friend bought it back sold it to another friend bought it back again.those are the original stickers, like a schmuck I took off the P-38 tag but it's a Survivor.I used to ride this bike 5-6 miles a day for a couple years and I never imagined it would look like this.Thank you to anyone I've bought a part from even if it's not on this bike and Thank You to anyone who's bought a part from me,,this is where your money goes...

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.
My first Powerlite (99 or 2000 P24 cruiser) is on the way..pics will come as soon as possible! I have not seen a powerlite since my buddy had a new one somewhere around 1995. Now I just need to find decals for it.

Re: Finally!! A Powerlite Thread!! I've Been Waiting For One.
i desperately need the decals. i need the one for the toptube that says p61 al
i have two of the 94 p61 al framesets.both were built in the month of october. these were the first year they came out. 21"tt and 75 degree headtube angle. i rode one in 94 when they first came out. one of my favorite bikes ever and that's why i found a frame set on ebay to work on. been a little lazy but i'll get around to it sooner or later.

im still learning about it myself.i think it is a miracle but im not sure what kind of chrome you're using it on.i wouldn't use it on something i know is chrome PLATED but i know on my cro-moly powerlite it takes off all the imperfections(dirt, rust, flecks of junk) maybe except slight scratches but those get buffed out.i'll post up pics later of my 24 today you're gonna flip out.
