I agree. It only took 16 different changes and $12k. LOL

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new BMX bike. Then I realised that  The Lord doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked him to forgive me.

What he said.  Excellent job.  Truly.  One of the nicest GTs I've ever seen.  I used to roll with 400 cranks on my 84 GT back in the day too.  Mine was chrome and red though.

Re: 1984 GT Pro Series

Yeah, wow, and mostly NOS too. Instant fave.

Awesome GT fella. It looks incredible - well done!!

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Re: 1984 GT Pro Series

I absolutely love the color & parts combination you used. If I were to build a GT Pro Series (hopefully one day) yours would be the blue print for mine this was an easy favorite. Top job M8 I wouldn't change a thing on it.

Re: 1984 GT Pro Series

This bike is HOT! I had a blue and chrome gt pro series off the show room floor back in 84. Came with mostly the same parts, wheel set was blue ukia speed line with chrome gt hubs (my fav. wheel set up  of all time) 1 pc cranks though.
I am in the process of a re-build of my old pro series with a lil re-facing using some newer parts. Kinda like when a house gets re-built. The frame is the same but it's some what  updated.
I do have the og chain and tuf-neck power dics from my first pro series that will be making on to the build.
Where and how could I get a set of a pad set like that? It just adds alot to the bike.
Again this bike is one of the hottest on the site in my eyes, great build brother.

we are the funpigs and we have fun!!!!!!
