Nice Robbie man. Can you help me out? Anyone know what seat post diameter needed for this 1998 Robinson Cruiser?? Got one I am building but cant find the specs anywhere. I measured with ruler on inside and gave me 1&1/16 inch which is roughly 26.8mm. I also have a 1998 Pro seat post in that one is a 27mm. WTF.

I THINK it's the same as the 20" Pros and Pro XLs, and they take 27mm w/ a 28.6mm SPC. Does your 26.8mm have a shim?

Nope. What I used was aluminum tape for AC duct work on the bottom half so it would stay put. It works, fits nice and tight in there, but still wondering what size post was used for these. When I built my Pro I left it with the bike shop dont know if they reamed the seat post tube or not?? I'll post pics of both when I get my crank arm back from profile. Thanks guys.

Perront. How are those measurements possible 28.6 SPC, 27 SP????? I think its the other way around. What about the thickness of the SP tube. Its always thicker than the SP. Im running 31.8mm Crupi RHYTHM and they fit nice an snug around the SP tube.
