1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model

Ridin' Red

This is a 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model. This is a custom build shown in brilliant red. This was the bike I could only dream about as a kid. 20+ years later, I built my own with a custom twist. I enjoy doing custom builds so this was a real fun project.  Some parts here are NOS, and some parts were restored.  Here's how it breaks down...

- Odyssey Gyro (NOS)

good to see custom touches to old school. thats the old school bmx way. i remember as a kid painting my bikes and or modifying them. same as bikes today.love it. good on ya mate.

puncho - you hit it right on the head man.  as a kid, i always modified and customized my bikes.  i still do that even with my cars today.  catalog correct builds are truly classics.  you cannot beat those restos.  but i just choose to build my bikes the way i would've done it as a kid.  so i just build them and have fun with it.  it's like being a kid again... smile

Similar to the red one I built... I have an extra Proper 87 GT 43T sprocket if you want it to replace the 86 one you have there... wink Repowderd in black...LMK
