1992 S&M Holmes

chrome 92 early Holmes with flat upper and lower rear triangle bracing.

from what I hear - this bike is kinda rare to find in good shape as they apparently cracked in the rear triangle area alot. this frame is a early model with flat upper and lower triangle bracing - it has Pitch fork and a Redneck with wedgie jaxon - also rocking early slam bars. I dont use brakes so... I like the clean look of not having that extra stuff on the bike. riding this bike around - it feels long, like a limo. to hold a manual on it the front end needs to come up rediculusly high. still a mega fun ride around the neighborhood. but I dont plan to mess this one up. just the ocasional stroll around.

Re: 1992 S&M Holmes

changed the sprocket to a dremeled out hutch spider with a 39t shimano ring
to work with the 13t rear cog = huge ratio but its good with 185pa's  on

tongue
also got the new repo S&M pad set on,   even tho after the pix I took off the stem pad
cause it fits weird on my shafted redneck.   go figure
also slapped on some primo v monster tan wall 1.95 front and rears.  realley like em.

this bike is a blast to ride.   its soo long its almost silly,
but I love it that way.

cant wait to get some holmes stickers for it.

Re: 1992 S&M Holmes

lol
I have about 4K hotwheels - I have a sickness
tongue

my hands are pretty stupid.
so they only know absolute full on squeeze of a brake.  no feathering allowed.
so rather than skid out all the time when trying to use a break,   I do just as good with my size 12 shoes - wether buzzing the front or rear tire - I can stop on a dime and or in a hurry.    the intresting part about riding with no brake - is that you can learn diffrent ways of carving around and how to control speed by "scrub" when doing that also.
there is also the negative pump wich is also verry useful in speed check situatuions.
