Re: 1997 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team

Nice bikes for sure smile

In my eyes these PFTs should have been retro'ed by GT.
1987-1997! 10years anniversary of the legendary Pro Freestyle Tour

Still carry part of the classic design featuring 1-1/8'' headtube and it's the last true PFT GT ever built

I bought an old f/f and i'm going to restore it.............I've been thinking of building a 87 retro in baby blue big_smile
But we will see.

Great bike!

Re: 1997 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team

I remember Dave Voelker attempting a pretty sick back flip transfer on one of those at the 97 X-games.
I'm not a huge GT fan ,but that was a great bike.

A member on here hooked me up wink
I bought it cause it was not chrome plated from the factory....guess what: yellow powder coat! Just like the one Voelker flipped off the wall at the 1997 X-Games (the one FU is talking about)
It's kinda abused but looks straight..could have been Dave's bike?..who knows

Btw, here's the video of Voelker at the X-Games:
