Re: 1989 Auburn CR-20R

thats not a 96 model do you have the serial number i can tell you the year. if it was a 96 it would be threadless stem and have canti mounts on it plus the bend on the top tube would be after the seat post not before

Re: 1989 Auburn CR-20R

Its not the correct year will check it later and post correct year;), building another for my boy but white wheels with black, redline flight crank (Series1 - Chrome) Profile Stem (Black). Will sticker them both, got some but don't like the green and blue thing. I love the bike. Can't wait to put pics of them both up. Shame the boy is only 6 (riding 16'' bmx at the mo.)

Keep up the comments - thanks guys n gals.

Very clean Auburn.  Nice to here you making up an old school ride for your boy.  He will see BMX when old school quality mattered.

Re: 1989 Auburn CR-20R

Should be picking the other one up in about a couple of days time, can't wait to see what its like. Had the Auburn since I was 13, now 26 so thought it was time to get it restored. Really nicely weighted bike.
