1989 Hutch Judge II XL

one of the best hutch frames made.  longer 20 1/2 TT, thick drops and steep head angle.  rides like a dream.

Re: 1989 Hutch Judge II XL

hi joe,  yeah i've been here before but never posted a lot of stuff.  your one of the good guys i've met from vbmx so its cool seeing some of the familiar names here too.   and yes it really does ride like a dream.  i am one of the guys who really likes the steep head angles.  it's great to get on a 20 year old bike that actually fits and can be ridden.

in forks and frame, the judge was a much more modern designed frame imho low bb short rearend quick steering much thicker dropouts, think trickstar but for racing.

Re: 1989 Hutch Judge II XL

Pro racer head angle is 72, seat angle is 72.  TT 19.5
Judge head angle is 74.5
Judge seat angle is 75.5
Judge TT from 19.5 - 20.5 I think, but im not entrirely sure.  It may only be the Judge2 that has the 20.5TT.  My Judge2 is 20.5, 74.5, 72
and was said, All judge models have double thick drop outs

So very cool to think of a build of this quality being ridden. Beautiful visual image! Great bike.
