yeah that is one bad azz ripper pcohen...is that chrome or just polished????..also thx for the lead on retrobmx i am going to order a black seat w blue bolt.

25mi maddawg...wow thats a work out!   once you get those big 9'rs rolling its pretty easy to keep momentum huh?   i might have to switch to a 40 and see how that rolls.

Not really a workout restoredude especially since i put on a pair of WTB Vulpines' . But since we rode with about 9000 other riders it really wasnt a race but more of a 4+hr.  cruise . There was some racing never the less , and the gearing was perfect

My Firemans Texas Cruzer 29er:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e81/Bianchijoe/CIMG2132.jpg

This is my road bike. I did last year's Livestrong Challenge on it (45 mi) and the 42 mile Rosedale Ride this year.  It's supremely comfortable for all-day riding, and it totally motors once you get it up to speed. Not as nimble as my Firemans 26, but I'm glad I have both.  The 29er is geared 38 X 18 (61 gear inches), but I've also used a 40 on the front for flatter courses.

Re: Wagon Wheel (29er) CLUB

Thats a sweet cruzer Austin , Id sure love to own one . Maybe i'll stop by and drool on one on my way to Laredo this winter .  Im pretty happy with the gearing on my BR - but i also added gears to my Stout earlier this year for trail riding - But nothing beats the feeling of the SS especially when  you FLY BY a couple of guys trying to race on geared bikes .

Best 29" tires: Halo Twin Rail.

These tires roll totally smooth on pavement but have enough tread to work very well under most off-road conditions. It feels like a new bike! Best $$ I have spent on my BM Flyer! They feel like an improved version of Primo Dirt Monster tires...

Re: Wagon Wheel (29er) CLUB

Dude it looks like a Big Ripper again! But Yeah that looks really good T-man!

The stickers and LG forks look awsome.

Are you still gonna set it up the other way for racing?

I hear ya on the 24" thing,I sold both of mine to get an OM.

What kinda bars are those?

I hated the stock bars on both the BR and OM.
I have RL forklifters on both of mine.

I wanted those Faust , but the super FAST availability of my local PRO shop ( Von & Dion ) got them in record time for our Chicago Late night ride . And very happy i must add with the performance of the Vulpines

There are a couple of cruzer clans in town, most prominently the Wheelieman sect and the Firemans cult - I ride with both, and there's a lot of crossover between them.  Wheelieman holds his annual Hill Country cruze that starts at Lake Travis, and Fire Man organizes a couple of annual urban rides as well.  Plus, there's the monthly full-moon cruze and the annual Moonlight Cruze, as well as Uncle Billy's Monday nighters  Some of us have been doing this for almost 30 years now, so come on up -- there's always someone to ride with here in the 512!
