1982 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

As you see this bike is exactly as it was 25 years ago when I was riding it.

I bought this bike when I was 13 years old (I am now 39). It has been stored in my house all this time. Did not realize there was still an interest in this stuff. Now I want to restore it, any ideas?

OR . . . you could sell it to me for $50!

Just kidding, great find.  Absolutely cool you still have it after all these years.  Beautiful survivor.

Re: 1982 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

Thanx for the feedback.  Wasn't sure if I should put any new components on it.  I am going to at least replace the worn Landing Gear decals and the freyed brake cable and add some SE Racing pads.  Also, the MX seat is cracked, I was going to replace that.  I hear the offset set seat post is not a good idea for it may crack the tube, but I am a bit taller these days.

Re: 1982 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

Awesome, just replace that seat, cable and put some repop tires and decals on her and ride it, I wouldn't put a laidback post on it though, PK's are known for breaking at the top rear of the seat tube.If you are anything like me,you mightI weigh a little /lot more than you did 25 years ago, so don't ride er to hard.lol. I wish I still had mine, it broke in the eighties. I just got an 83 pk to build for my daughter to ride. can't wait to see her on it.
