1980 Mongoose Moosegoose

Rare Bike, Only seen other ones on this site.

Owned for 33 years, mix of new and old, stops on a dime and smooth as silk ride. Needs a full resto and currently chasing parts to do so.

Re: 1980 Mongoose Moosegoose

What size wheels do you have on it. Is it a 24, or a 20inch?

Re: 1980 Mongoose Moosegoose

hi guys, i have had one of these moosegoose's since 1997 and it has spent the last ten years under the house. my uncle bought it new in 1980 in australia and i pulled it out the other day to go for a ride. after searching for a few parts im kicking myself now i had all the original red velcro covers and peddals in a box somewhere!!!!! cant find them.
The bike is otherwise original and i am now fixing it all back up.
I NEED A BOTTOM BRACKET
any ideas ? thankyou
