1981 Kuwahara KM-1 Mini

Long story short, this NOS frameset has been hanging on a hook in a bike shop since 1981. Found at the bike shop in a little town in Southern Colorado.
Not sure if you guys ever saw the ad for this bike, but the little hole in the right side gusset was an option to be used as a cable stop so you could run a center pull rear brake instead of the tradtional side pull.  I can't figure out how a cable stop was mounted to that hole to make it work right.

saC, the parts you will need comes from a standard side pull brake set up. you must find a side pull brake with a with a nut holding the cable adjuster. if you can un bolt the cable adjuster just bolt it to the hole in the frame. you must run a short cable housing with a long cable to reach the rear center pull brake. kind of hard to explain. however if you check my mongoose bike this is how I did it and it works very well!! check it out hope this helps?
