Re: VDC Changa

if you still have the bath prepped, and still have some rusty on there, get a toothbrush and lightly hit on it.

when you take it out -
wash the hell out of it with tap water or a hose or whatever.

then oil it - oil it like you never oiled it before !

cant wait to see it bro.

its gonna be sekx

Re: VDC Changa

WOW this is a small world. I just talked to changachump and this bike belonged to an old freind of mine . I raced with the old owner of this bike.  talking about a blast from the past.  ya he had an extra decal pack or two. check out the double gorilla's on the head tubes. mine had that aswell. and the VDC decal on the top tube. ya I was there when he put them on. I still have some of those decals on my OG race plate.  I am glad to see some one will take care of this peice of history. it was a big part of my past for sure.

Re: VDC Changa

I'm looking for other rusty crap to throw in there. I threw in the GT
cranks for sh*ts and giggles. They are clean as a whistle! I have a
StreetStyler F/F in there now too. I threw in some old rusty tools. If anyone
wants their frames bathed, PM me and we can come up w/ something.
That's if you don't want to do it yourselves. It's pretty gratifying to see the
results.

Mike

Re: VDC Changa

Yeah, I put a second frame in the bath (Skyway StreetStyler)
and it took way longer. I completely cleaned out my local hardware
store and need to source the OA somewhere else now.

Re: VDC Changa

Do you use the Behr#63 straight or cut it with water? What ratio?

Re: VDC Changa

I heard from mr.z that it was 10 water to 1 oa (behr #63) ratio.

Where is this bad boy now?

Just put a deposit down on a brand new Porsche and mentioned it on Facebook. I said, "I can't wait for the new 911 to arrive!" Next thing I know 4,000 f**king Muslims have added me as a friend!
