1981 Mongoose Motomag
1981 Mongoose Motomag
This is a mongoose which I have had on display at my home for quite a while now. I have added a pair of Pro Class drillouts to it to make the bike into a California Special replica. NOS Cheng shin tyres, Jive grips with donuts and the rest is fairly original. I have sold this bike to fund my newest project, The mongoose two four. It's more my size.

Re: 1981 Mongoose Motomag
Wrong mate.
1981 Mongoose can have both style of dropouts as the crossover period was during early 1981.
Supergoose frames like this didn't have the three hole brake bridge either. Only the next gen model , like your did.
If theres a "T" in the serial # it's a Supergoose or Team. If not it's a regular goose.
70's bmx is where it's at.

Re: 1981 Mongoose Motomag
Thanks coasty, She is a standard goose mate. No T in the serial. It now belongs to a fellow ozbmxer. Cheers mate.
