I want one too. I e-mailed them and the only thing they could offer was a link to a dealer that had some of their bars. They were not cheap. $75 for cruiser bars, but their stuff is nice and I am sure worth it. I hope I can score one someday.

Re: 2008 Knight Bike Co. Proformer 24

Mattelhardt - The bike looks great and I can't wait to get mine completed. looking at your pics, I'm rethinking the use of the laid back GT seat post I already had powdered. The geometry of the SP looks laid back as is. What's your height and how does it feel so far (if you've mounted a seat)? Thanks!

Re: 2008 Knight Bike Co. Proformer 24

Thanks for the compliment. The geometry doesn't feel that laid back to me, I actually went with a laid back post after this picture was taken, and I could honestly go either way. I'm 5"10 and the top tube is definitely long enough with a straight post, but then again the laid back doesn't feel too big either. It steers quick and doesn't feel sluggish at all. The tuff 2s are heavy as a tank though, I may have to go with a lighter wheelset eventually.
See you at the Brooklyn Banks?
Good luck with the bike! By the way, what serial # do you have? Do you know how many were made?

Re: 2008 Knight Bike Co. Proformer 24

what's up with the Brooklyn Banks??? I've been waiting for a nice NYC gathering! I don't have the frame with me at the moment - currently at my friend's shop (Brooklyn Machine Works) having some mods done before powdering. I think I mentioned the serial # in one of the posts here, but can't remember. BTW, I'm 6'2", so I think I'll stick with the laid back post, but I might just powder a straight post to be safe. I'm going to run GT hubs/Sun rims on mine, but might play with the Graphite Tuffs from my Quad to see how it looks. I can't wait to get it done and I will be stopping by my friend's shop this Friday to crack the whip on him! lol

Edit: found my old post - I have serial # 004.

Re: 2008 Knight Bike Co. Proformer 24

Great updated shots man - especially the first one! are you planning to come out for the Central Park ride on 6/20? If so, you should bring this bike. I'm hoping chip will have mine finished next week so I can get mine built up in time for the ride. I plan to bring my camera, so it would be cool to take a photo of 2 of them together, especially with the differences in our builds! BTW, the 3rd pic made me laugh!!! I thought "how funny that the shot has someone in the BG mooning us all while she does the pooper scooper thing!" Then I noticed those aren't even dogs!!! WTH?! Pigs in Brooklyn? I thought I had seen everything...only in NY! lol

Re: 2008 Knight Bike Co. Proformer 24

The ride in Central Park was organized by Smokin-Endo and it will happen on June 20th. Here's the links for more info:

I can't remember now what the plan is on where to meet, but I'll look into it and send you a PM with my number. I have seen the Knight site and the additional pics, all coming along nicely! Hopefully I'll have mine back next week and built up by next weekend.

Re: 2008 Knight Bike Co. Proformer 24

That thing came out pretty sweet. It's good to see that we all didn't go down the same path.

As for how many where produced I think George said 12 or 15. I have #2. It is unfortunatly still sitting in the box.
