That's funny, you're not the only guy from Australia that wants this frame...I don't plan on selling this anytime soon and don't ever plan on building it...I do like trading though...If you have a Technique or JAD cruiser frame, PM me and maybe we can work something..lol...

Damn I this frame so bad, it would go with my elite so well, same year, elite sticker set and everything. I hope I would get priority if and when you decide to part ways with this one.

I don't plan on getting rid of this one unless someone offers me one of the above mentioned frames for it... I will be sure to let you know if I ever part with it tho!

Re: 1997 Haro Monocoque
i also see that your bottom bracket shell has an extra weld on it .
the round weld with the dot in the center. my first haro monocoque had that ,but my current one does not. they are the same year late 96 early 97. didnt know why they did it. do you have a guess?

Re: 1997 Haro Monocoque
Anyone know how many of these frames were produced in 1997? Mine is polished and is number 123 (It's in my Bikes).

Re: 1997 Haro Monocoque
I owned the yellow, serial 264 here in Australia. Was told there were 400 made, but remeber they later started mass roducing them, the 400 was for the handmade US ones like this, not sureif that is accurate though?

Re: 1997 Haro Monocoque
I am not sure when they started mass producing them, but the quality of the frames started going down-hill when they made the ones with the "d-stabalizer" chainstays...Before that they were basically the same as the hand made ones. I only buy the ones with the hand etched serial number now...
