1989 Kastan KEX

Kastan had a unique uni blade fork design

Linn Kastan, owner and designer for redline bike, sold redline in 1986. At that time he started his own company, Kastan. The bike were similar to redline, with some unique design features. Stil going today, this company makes great bikes.

Re: 1989 Kastan KEX

i can remember the first time i saw a uni blade fork. this guy came down to the local trails and had one on his pk. i was amazed at how sturdy the fork was, he was jumping doubles and getting big air- then about a month later we heard he was in the hospital with a broken arm because his fork snapped. still a cool design for something like a show bike.
