Beautiful bikes, but are these always built up to catalog spec? Surely someone built some custom ones .. aftermarket parts , flatland spec ect?

Sugino 400 cranks, 1st gen Kneesaver bars, Perigrine Freecoaster rear hub and Perigrine sealed  front hub laced to lineage hoops, Gyro 2 XL, 1988 GT seat, 1996 GT stem.
I still need some pegs that fit those tiny front drop outs, But otherwise this is exactly how I want it. Took the Hutch stem off to shave off that extra half inch in the front and took a link out to slam the back tire. It feels perfect for me. I'm going to set up my blue one exactly the same, but with og super-pros instead the freecoaster and lineage hoops.

Nice man, thats exactly what I was talking about!! How small are the front drops from axle center to the leg? My interest in this is because Im getting one and plan on riding it, so peg diameter will be critical.  But, Ive machined pegs to fit fork drops before.

Re: RL20II's, show us what you got

I'm not sure the on size. I used to run the threaded small GT pegs up front, and they just barely fit. The Dyno/GT pac-man pegs also fit because of the triangular shape at the base, but they look like soup cans. Please do keep me informed if you come up with something. The Haro Lineage pegs are just a bit too large a diameter to fit.

I have these too, Infinity from Flatland Fuel .. maybe that conical base will fit or a little machining may be in order.

Infinity on right, Armour Bohm left. Looks like Bohms would be a minimal modification to fit. big_smile

Don't hold me to this, but Black Ops pegs might fit.  Not period correct of course but I had a similar dilemma and they saved me
