Another special attribute of this frame is it’s got some mean re enforcement welds @ bottoms of stays & downtube.. doesn’t look damaged.. frames in pretty nice shape.. did these crack in this area???

NICE!!!  Love the original Mango, and it's very uncommon to see it with chrome in stead of grey on the rear triangle.  Very glad YOU have it (seeing that you appreciate survivors as much as you do), rather than someone who'd strip and refinish that beauty.
