2000 GT Tour

USA-made factory spec complete (with the exception of the Overdrive crankset and Thomson seat post).  GT Piston stem, Pro Vert handlebars, sealed Mohawk hubs and Araya Super 7x rims, Flycutter chainwheel, GT Airbag tires, Dia-compe 990 brakes, Tech 99 levers, etc.  This bike is a serious blast to ride - an awesome weekend rig, great for ripping after those long, tedious, desk-bound weeks.  Reminds me of summer and feels much like an old school ride.  Hope you like this entry.  - Kevin

Thanks Demon - made the correction.  Couldn't quite remember what year this sucker was. :P

Re: 2000 GT Tour

Yes Kevin!
Good to hear from ya  and glad you posted this one Tour, it's lovely!

I've been working on this chrome/polished/white GT Tour for some months now.
Needs GT 4pc Vert bars, a set of GT platform pedals and a NOS GT USA piston stem....hit me up if you come by any of these parts and you don't need them.

Hope all is well!!

another awesome tour. Nice bike!

Elect clowns, expect circus...

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles an hour, you're gonna see some serious shit.

this popped up on the front page when I logged in today.  Nice looking bike.  :)

Re: 2000 GT Tour

The GT Show came with a smaller sprocket, right?   Like a 36?

Re: 2000 GT Tour

The overdrives are not out of place on this. Some team riders rode Tours with overdrive cranks on them. I always thought the rider must have asked for the overdrive cranks instead of the GT profiles. But I had a chat to a GT FS Team rider who had a Tour delivered to him with overdrives on it from factory. I think the Overdrives suit it perfectly.
