Screwing around with this. Still collecting parts.

Boards in background look like a Lucero and a ?

The other one is just a blank I reshaped slightly to fit the 44mm wheel era a little better haha

Nice!

Re: S&M hoarders unite

Got lucky this morning... was trying in vain with morning coffee to find a black S&M race fork in 20" like I've been doing for months, all of a sudden there was 1 of them in stock on the S&M website. Snatched that baby up for my black Steel Panther frame arriving next week.

You purchased a Steel Panther?

I did. Black Steel Panther frame in 21.75" (scored last one out there, that I could locate at least).

Well if you could not find a black for....chrome would have been equally just as nice too.

What are the plans for this build?

Re: S&M hoarders unite

I bought this frame new in 2009 and sold it about a year later on here and severely regretted it. Luckily about 2 years later the member listed it back up for sale and I snagged it back. Still one of my favorite bikes I have ever owned.

Yep, excited! Got the Steel Panther frame in black, got a set of S&M Speedwagon decals on the way (as I am really on the fence with the Steel Panther decals), black S&M race fork, black S&M 8.5" race bars, already had black S&M race stem, and S&M seat clamp came in yesterday. With the Profile elite cranks, rennen chainring, and profile hubs, that's a pretty 'MERICA!! ride.

Concur. Hell 25/9 is basically same as 44/16. A 44/9 that would be like a stairmaster on highest setting just to get bike to move. Yikes!

That's a second gen. Enduro 2012ish https://jrbicycles.com/products/s-m-end … -load-stem
First gen. Enduro stems were basically a Challenger base with a redneck cap.
