Re: S&M hoarders unite

Know these are pitchforks, but I've never seen the compression bolt threads welded like this. Seems curious. https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/246580/16008302232381617033515f6abb2302.jpg

Re: S&M hoarders unite

The top has been cut down. Looks like they did a better job on the steerer than they did on the drops.

Would love to find my old Dirt Bike.  It was stolen in Pompano Beach, Florida in about 1996.  It's a '92 with the block graphics on a Green frame.  Pitchforks, Slam bars, King Headset, GT (DK-style) stem and GT/Profile cranks.  Superlace hubs.  Would really love to put this back in my collection.

I hear ya about the seat. I think a Brooks saddle is in order for mine as well. The bars with no cross bar look great. I tried to go that route, but the company I wanted to order from apparently went out of business.(?) IDK, but those bars look sweet.

These are S&M S.A.C. Bars, PlanetBMX had 6 of them when I bought mine, went back to order another one for my FBM 29 and they had sold out!!!

I think I still have 2 in black.

At first I thought the same thing but those are really clean welds and the fork is painted over chrome and the steer tube chrome is completely intact.

What's the steer tube length?

Pm me your address and it is all yours. I got it as a PIF and just want it to go to a good home.

Re: S&M hoarders unite

I was finally able to add the crowning touch to the oldest S&M Widowmaker in existence today. I've had a wanted to buy post on the museum running for three years looking for a very specific S&S Tiger Tooth sprocket and a amazing museum member finally made it happen. The WidowMaker is now running a original finish 1st gen 39t S&S Tiger Tooth sprocket paired with original finish and decals Prince Albert 1st gen 185mm cranks and original finish 2nd gen Revcore pedals. I'm so stoked about this. The old WidowMaker has been needing a worthy sprocket for many years and now it has one

I sold (stupid me) a green Widowmaker to a buddy who owns a bike shop. He was talking to Moller (years ago now) and asked him about this bike with the I wanna rock sticker and the crazy head tube sticker and asked if they were legit. Moller told him they were original and asked him the colour. Green my buddy says and Moller asked if he wanted to sell it. At the time it was the only SnM frame he didn't have, a green Widowmaker. And I sold the bloody thing cheap.

Every time I get on my bike I win. Ms.BMX.
