Anyone have any recollection of what I'm talking about?

No idea but it sounds like something I’d like to see. This must have been a common seat back then. Neal Wood had one on a 95 Challenger bike check.

Bike check that was on the Snap write up?

Harp, I want to tell you something. I was in this bureau when you were still popping zits on your funny face and jerking off with the lingerie section of the sears catalog....

Re: S&M hoarders unite

A quick question for the 38 Special experts:- what year did they switch over from an integrated seat post clamp? Looking at the ones submitted on the Museum, it looks like 2007/8 but just wanted to check with those in the know. Thanks in advance. smile

Nice catch, might have not had them on the earlier models?  Or possibly a screw up from the factory?  Supply issue?

Then I wonder when they started putting on the later decals. These are og and show their age. Hard to say when they were out on though.

Re: S&M hoarders unite

A buddy of mine has been promising me this shirt for a long time, probably 6-8 years, maybe longer?? He moved a couple  of times, stumbled upon it, forgot about it, packed it for a move, ect. Finally remember to bring it to the shop today, and i happened to go into his shop today! It made my day for sure! It will go nicely with my collection!

The RV seems to be one of my favorite S&M frames.  Or maybe I like just the racing frames in general.  Anyway my RV setup fixed is pretty fun to ride.  http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/33225/20200223_1005365e529b9a79.jpg

Re: S&M hoarders unite

This is going to be a fun tank build. I picked up this 2004 ish beringer frame off eBay, not bad shape other than needing a repaint. Also found some S&m made beringer bar ends.

I was working on recreating the TT decals but I think I’ll just put a headbadge on and call it a day.
