Dood,

Nice ride.  Different, refreshing, clever.  How'd you score the red and blue front sticker?

Nice job.  This TrickStar stands out!

Re: 1984 Hutch Trick Star

Great looking bike.   The only thing I'd do is seek out a longer red cable, and feed it through the stem, loop upwards into the front caliper assembly.   The benefit is that the cable won't rub a spot into your head tube's logo when doing bar-spins.

I love those mid 80's Hutch's.   Such cool classics!

Sure I'll look like a bear at the circus, but I'll get a little fun out of it.

I've been holding out for a blue or red Gyro, but no luck yet.  I've actually seen some for sale, but I can't pay $100+ for it.

If you can`t find the color you want, lets paint one to match big_smile

I plan on sending the parts to you, lou, for paint.  Its the cables in blue or red that I can't track down.

Yes, sir.  It's nice, but it ain't Sandy Eggo.  I miss the sun and the breeze, and you guys.  You guys KICK ASS!  I will be watching the San Diego cruise thread weekly like Charlie does.  Have fun out there.

Many thanks!

I am thinking it deserves some Hutch beartrap pedals and some Redline/earlier Profile/Peregrine cranks, but I just don't have the $600+ needed.  As soon as I get my hands on a white Gyro upper cable, I will dye the cables and get Lou to paint a Gyro and get that baby installed.
