My initial idea about this bike was to build this Race-ready '81 Torker with primarily era-correct components.. BUT set it up as a Dialed-in early Freestyle bike.
I wanted a different style set-up than most of the old Torkers I see built... But also wanted the visual theme to stay true to the classic Torker brand.
Searching and slowly collecting parts for this specific build for about 4 years now... It's definitely a unique combination of some of my favorite parts, and much of it was pretty hard to track down. The wheel lacing went beautifully (It's been a while since I did up a set) and the Drive train couldn't be smoother.... :)
Thanks to Alvin Mullins for hooking me up with these super sweet tires....
And to Boxline69 for hooking me up with the gold brakes.... I owe both of you Bigtime! :)
I'm glad to see this long awaited project finally together,
Took it for a spin and it rides like a dream.........
