2002 Terrible One Barcode
2002.5 Terrible One Barcode.
Originally purchased in 2002 from Tip Plus, as they were the T1 distro for the US at the time. The cable stop broke after a few months and i was unable to use rear brakes for a while. I called Tip Plus and asked what they could do for me, and they suggested that I call Terrible One. I called and talked to Joe (Rich), and he said he would get it taken care of if I sent in the frame. A few weeks later I got a call from Joe while at work and he said the frame was good to go and it was on its way. When the frame arrived it was a brand new one, only a little bit different than the one I sent to T1, and a little different from the upcoming 2003 barcode frames. Instead of having the 2002 style cable stop (that would not accept barrel adjusters, only cable housing ends), it had a small tube-shaped cable stop. It was perfect for barrel adjusters, and even my homemade dual cable stop.
The typical setup was with the profile race cranks. I didn't like the primo powerbites. Also, these photos are circa 2002-2004.
