1993 Supercross SX-500 24
"Jessica Drew"
Remember the Spider-Woman cartoons of the late '70s? If you do, you'll understand my inspiration for the name of this build. Never bothered to discover the original color, but I got her powdercoated in pretty much the same red I got her in. Authentic downtube decals, repro on the headtube that is so thin that the red of the frame shows through. Welded by John Sevrin according to my research. I am so happy with the way she turned out, but I may end up swapping out the bars for some different ones. Shouldn't be using these crappy cell phone pix, but I didn't want to wait any longer to submit her. I hope she's got what it takes to hang with those of bg707 and bamf227!
UPDATE 10/5/15 -- I changed the seat, added the pads and threw in some washers to give the seat stays some much needed clearance from the chain. This baby is one SOLID ride, and (in my opinion) has gotten a little closer to attaining bg707 and bamf227 status!
UPDATE 10/14/15 -- Fittingly, I switched to some Odyssey Black Widow AA Pro pedals.
