1985 Speedwell Thruster

I picked this bike up from someone who bought it from a garage sale years ago. He said he use to race and wasn’t interested in this bike as it wasn’t a Mongoose or Redline. This reminds me a lot of my first bike, which was the dragstar version of this. It was in reasonable condition and needed a lot of TLC put back into it. I was surprised just how good it came up. I love the seat it so 80’s. All parts are original, including the decals, pad set, CMC rims, except the handle bar grips, they are NOS, I found them today (thanks Wayne, from BMX old school). The pedals are from another 80’s BMX I have. This was originally sold in West Footscray, Melbourne, Australia, by Derby Leisure PTY LTD, sold by Beasley Cycles, still going strong today.
