I got this bike just as you see it minus the tires. I spent a weekend taking it apart and cleaning, polishing and regreasing.
All decals are there and in very nice shape. The paint is great with very few scratches and virtually no fading and no rust anywhere. As far as I can tell Sharp was a Toys"r"us brand. The components are cheap as can be but work. The brakes are the stamped steel kind and the stem in the only part of the bike that has some aluminum ( the stem cap). I compared the frame to an 85 GT performer and it is a inch by inch copy of it and they did a very reasonable job. I do not think it is 4130 but it weighs the same as the GT, go figure. ( they did not copy the bologna cut though )
I flat out love the color, this is a keeper!
I might upgrade the brakes to Lee-Chi brakes.
