1963 Schwinn Corvette 26

This build was a couple of years in the making. I bought the frame and original forks(not the ones on it now) and wasn't sure weather to go factory original or not...well eventually I decided on not...I really like the way it turned out, and I love riding it around...I get a lot of good comments.

Most of the parts are Schwinn or were used on Schwinn's,

Forks: They are not King Sting...They are off an early Schwinn Cruiser...but the decals added to the look...I think.

Headset: Vintage Schwinn

Handlebars: Al's Rapid Transit KOS style...Aluminum, anodized blue

Rims: Off of a 1958 no name balloon tire bike I picked up a few years ago...sand blasted and re-painted.

Front Hub: High flange Schwinn

Rear Hub: Atom drum brake

Cranks: I ended up using a set of STLN Bike 3pc. cranks I had instead of the one piece I was going to use.

Chain-ring: Schwinn 46t.  Rear sprocket, ACS 20t 

Misc: ODI Vans lock on grips...Odyssey Twisted pedals...Tektro brake lever...No name Cruiser stem

Also, I was really lucky to find an original Schwinn starburst head-badge in such good condition.

Overall I'm very happy the way it turned out...I wanted a 26in cruiser, but I also wanted it to look a bit different than most.
