1981 Schwinn Scrambler
My First Scrambler
I picked this up off CL, it hadnt been touched in years, but was no doubt handled quite a bit BITD!
These pics are after its first wash, as I got it. Going to strip it down and clean, so these serve as a before shot. Not sure if i should repaint, or even clearcoat the OG finish. Its missing alot of skin.
Mystery to me is whether this was originally a coaster brake or freewheel model, as it is now. It has a coaster brake clamp dangling on the frame, UKAI rims and schwinn approved hubs. Has a scrambler tire which looks like its meant for an S-7 type rim. Overall decent shape, looking forward to getting it rollin'.
