1986 Schwinn Predator Free Form EX
Brought back from the grave for 2 brothers.
I restored this bike for a friend, it belonged to his older brother, was stolen once and retrieved then handed down, he knew I was into collecting BMX and asked if I could get it back to the way he remembered it. So with some help from an identical donor bike, NOS parts, porkchop parts and some original I was able to get it looking pretty close to the vintage ad.
The 4th. photo shows both the original in black and the blue donor bike, I was able to use the original frame, fork, headset, neck, bars crank, bottom bracket, seat post & clamp.
Overall it cost a bit more than it's worth but the nostalgic value out weighs the dollar amount, everyone was extremely pleased with the outcome.
