1983 Schwinn Sidewinder 26
Don’t see many dark blue sidewinders
The serial number says this bike was one of the last Chicago made Schwinns.
Made when Schwinn had partnered with Murray to finish off their bike inventory.
This bike has all the Schwinn characteristics…
Seam weld on bottom bracket shell, smooth head tube seams.
Appears to be mostly original with the tires and grips replaced.
Not sure what to do with 10 speeds, but it shifts smooth and comfortable.
