A rare bike
Frame: MCS/Alphameq Rocket, Aluminium, 21.5" top tube. U.S.A (Brazillian) made. Serial number on outside left rear dropout.
Fork: Rocket Aluminium, taper leg to 7/8" at bottom. CR-MO steer tube, bonded to aluminium unicrown, allignment pin rear of crown.
Dia Compe Headset, 'HeadLock' pat. pending, S&M Slam bars 28" wide, Odyssey Earth Science grips, S&M Derringer bar ends, DK pro XL length stem.
Crupi Rhythm Q/R seat clamp, Kalloy pole, Tioga D-Spyder seat.
Profile 180mm cranks, 45T 'Whippit' Profile chainwheel, Tioga "Zero Axle" pedals, Z Chain, Shimano freewheel.
Odyssey Chrome first issue Hazard Lite hoops, Redline sealed flip-flop hubs, SS spokes, Tioga Comp III repro tyres.
Shimano Cantilever brakes, Shimano XTR lever.
Frame has a weird flattened section with a 2mm groove on top of down tube and under the top tube.
All OEM decals there: 'ROCKET' on down tube, fork legs and both rear chain stays. Seat tube has 'rocket' on top, 'FUEL TANK' below it, and 'USA ROCKET' at the bottom.
Purchaced from the original owner, who won the state NSW BMX titles on it in 2000.
Feels like a Limo with the super long stem, XXL frame, 45/16 ratio and 180mm crank arm combo.
