1979 Redline MX-II

This was one of my good friends bike when we were kids. I rode next to this guy in 1980 lol

Original color was Hazzard yellow.

Very cool, but the "Ronald McDonald" as was known,

Had a new future.

My friend mike, stripped his 78 team mongoose when his mother  bought him  this frame, fork,and redline fluted post for Christmas in 1980 from the beloved 

 Dell's cyclery in canton,ohio. 1970-2015  ( R.I.P. )

I was shocked to learn he still had it in 2012.

" anyone feel this tender love story that's unfolding " ?

 

I still have all the parts he had on the bike, only replaced a few things. 

He just came over on his new motorcycle

 last summer ( 2017 ) to see if I wanted to go riding.

I told him I sold my M95, and now I " fix up " 

the old bmx's.

I couldn't wait to show him what I did with his old Redline.

But when I brought her out , in all her 

" blood red candy ass glory " 

he just looked at me in confusion......

He didn't see the love story.

And that's why I'm here.

And grease on the  car seats !!! 

And this "shit"  cat  keeps clawing at my tires !!!
