1986 Redline RL-20II

The Radest of Radberry Radness

When i was a kid this is the bike I always wanted in this exact color.  At the end of 2015 I had another bike I had just picked up and Jimmy was kind enough to hit me up and see about a trade deal.  BIG thanks buddy.  Took me 28 years but I finally snagged one.  I saw my first Radberry 20II in 87 and now here she is.

This one has been re-powdered by Chip @ C4, but it is absolutely smokin' in person.  I swapped up a some parts and added a few personal touches to round it out.  I prefer a beefier stem than the standard Redline FL stem, so a Mallet was the choice for this one.  A big bite for some great looking bars.  The tech 7's were something I felt was a must.  I rode them BITD and still have my OG set (not these) but they took it up a notch.  The single pinch full wrap cranks came from a local buddy who's bike I parted out last year for him.  His payment to me was these sweet 180's and a bit of dough.  I had a tough time deciding on pedals, but eventually went with the XCii's and I'm super happy with them.  The post is a REPOP.  A buddy was having one fabbed up and asked if i could use one, "Yes, please".  Came out great and this repop has a GIANT handle on it unlike the OG ones.  So very easy to spot.  Same guy also cut me a deal on the Flyte Tech.  As you can see, depending on the light, Radberry is one finicky color, but the ones by the skate park are the closest vs. the last few down below, but still fun shots, so I thought i would include them.

Anyhow, this is one of my Radberry Babies and it rides out great.  Took it on an 8 mile ride right when i got it and it was like I flipped the switch on the flux capacitor and shot back in time.

OH!  And thanks to the bum who left the Miller High Life Champagne of Beers bottle for me to prop my ride up on.  lol
