1989 Redline RL-20b

This is a great bike. I had one back in '90.

This bike was bought from a garage sale here in town. Another member here bought it for $20 and sold it to me for pretty much the same. I had one back in 1990 when I turned 18 and loved it. The bike followed me for quite some time and then eventually I believe the EX threw it out.

This one was/is pretty much how I had mine before it went into hiding. I had kneesavers instead of peregrine bars but always wanted the peregrine on it intsead. Also the rims are different.

This one when I got it was spray bombed silver lol. I started to strip the silver off and saw that the color beneath it was black crackle paint over radberry. I did a bit 'o research and found out it technically is a RL LTD. Well, since that paint job is harder to replicate, so I went ahead and restored it to the one I had. Thanks to Frank(toobigtoride265) for the great paintjob on the frame. It took me a while to build this since it seemed like everytime I got going on this project something roadblocked me lol. Either a hat washer for the stem, or the rim strips were just a bit too small, or work lol.

Well, she's done now and I can finally submit. Here is the link to the build thread.
