1981 Redline MX-III
My childhood dream bike...
I built this back in 2000... After several years of collecting 1966 Violet Schwinn Stingrays I began this project with the help of the members of OSBMX. Though I used a lot of NOS parts I enjoy riding my Redline!
Note: I was told that this maybe a 1980 or 1981 Redline based on serial number... If anyone can verify it would be much appreciated!

I added the following... -NOS Oakley 3's -Redline V bars -NOS red Brute Stem -NOS SST Dirt Skirt -NOS Suntour Headset Lock -NOS Shimano DX Seatpost -NOS Addicks Seat Clamp -Super Clean Redline 400 Cranks -NOS Addicks 46t Chainring -NOS Skyway Graphite Pedals -Super Clean Tuff II Wheels with rear Shimano 16t Freewheel -Tioga Comp 3' front 1.75 and rear 2.125 tires -Hare trigger for rear brake -Dia Comp MX-1000 rear brake and I have the front which I haven't installed yet. -Skyway Tuff Wheel Brake Pads -Kashimax Aero Seat -red Glitter Rear Cable -red Alloy Valve Caps -Neal Race Number Plate w/ Haro numbers -OG Redline Snap frame & stem pads. Still need V bar snap pad. I have a velcro one on there for now. I think that's all I can remember.
