1978 Redline MX-II
Original nickel plate 1978 Red Line MX-II
This is my 1978 Red Line MX-II. I am the second owner. After breaking my police auction Rampar in half at a family camping trip, my parents purchased this for me from a local kid in 1981. The bike has not changed much since I have owned it. As a kid I upgraded it with the Maxy Cross cranks, Shimano Pedals, Brute stem, and Cal-Lite pads. I rode and jumped the hell out of this thing around town and hung it up in my parents rafters at age 16. I cleaned it up and added a few parts. It still rides and handles like a dream. Thank you BMX Museum for letting me post it, and to the members who helped me find parts.
