1986 Raleigh Reflex

Bought the bike about 2 months ago off of CL for $40!  I had an R11XL as a kid so, I thought I'd check it out.  Turns out I LOVE this bike!  Fits me better than any other bike I own(ed).  So far, all I have done to it is take off the extra weight and change the dry rotted original tires (Kept them all just in case, though). The kids at the skate park and track all give me lots of compliments on it and ask to try it constantly ("Sick" is a compliment, right?!) I bought it with the intent of using it as a jumping off point to get back into the sport but every one I tell says I need to shine it up and put it on a shelf.  I cant bring myself to do that, seems like a waste.  But, if the right situation came along I suppose I could let it go to someone who did want it for that.  Otherwise, this winter I am going to powder coat it, get some real landing gear forks, update the drive train / wheels and get ready to go for it next season! What do y'all think?
