1979 Team Mongoose

I built this bike for a buddy of mine (LOUIE) . The bike was used but not abused. The frame was broken and there was rust everwhere. A candy apple powder coat job and some elbow grease brought this wheelie king back to life. Building this bike brought back many memories. I returned the bike back to him after the transformation. He was amazed. Original CW bars, squared tuff neck, Redline nickel forks, Arraya wheels with Shimano hubs, Tagaki cranks and unpainted Shimano DX pedals.
