The rear brake and cable routing is quite poorly executed on this bike. I have seen this orientation on other midschool bikes but the department store quality really shows here. When I received the bike it had a smaller GT chain-wheel and with the existing chain length the brakes could not properly reach the rim. Changing chain tension would create contact on the brake mechanism itself. As well heavy wear is observed on the brake from chain slap even when setup up properly. Otherwise a cool little bike with a frame that makes people think Haro, GT, Kuwy Mr Big etc.
