1983 Kuwahara Laserlite

I originally bought the frame, forks, post, bars and rims from a collector in Melbourne Australia and then spent the next twelve months searching for the correct parts for the build.

I did go with a slightly different colour to the basic black and chrome look laserlites are known for. I added red anno BB cups, brake caliper, brake lever, seat clamp and headlock. This colour change started off when I could only find a red Suntour Broken Arrow seat clamp and the best set of MX1000 calipers I had also happen to be red and dated 1983. Looking at the bike now complete I actually think the red anno components suit it really well.
