2004 King Trial

King's street/trail frame

The Trial is similar to other frames of the time period with a Euro BB and Standard head tube. They were built by MAAS Specialties and came in a couple configurations in terms of brake position and bottom bracket.

I am not positive of the geometry, but I believe it is the following:

20.875tt

74.5 head tube angle

71.0 seat tube angle

11.5 bb height (maybe)

13.75 to 14.5 rear end

8.5 stand over height

Tubing- 1.5" top and down tube, 7/8" stays

Weight- 6.5 lbs approx.

As built:

Bars- Volume war horse 9"

Stem- FBM Bottleneck

*Headset- District Pro, Non Integrated

Fork- FBM CB4K

Cranks- Premium 1948

Pedals- Nice

Sprocket- FBM Supernaut 27t

Seat/Post- Odyssey Aitken railed, Fit post

Clamp- Coalition

Brakes- Kink Desist with Odyssey lever

Tires- S&M Mainline 2.425 and Odyssey Hawk 2.10

Wheels- Hazard Lite 36h rims, Primo Pro Mix cassette, Odyssey Vandero Pro front hub

*After looking at all of my headset options I found the District Pro which is actually made for scooters.  It uses thick aluminum cups and 45/45 integrated bearings which allows you to use newer forks with integrated races.  It is a solid option if you have a standard head tube.
