1983 Hutch Pro Racer
Pre-serial number model
The American classic pre-serial Hutch Pro Racer.
Done up with the classic Hutch chrome plated parts mixed with the expected black/gold color scheme.
I have this set up like what was offered in '84 with the drivetrain (wihout the sealed Tioga BB) but with a few upgrades and different spec'd items like the stem, hubs, pedals, and the Dirt Skirt. This bike weighs in at 24 lbs. even with the pads and plate. It's an amazingly agile racer and super fun to ride across town or at the track.
I was born in Baltimore, MD so I have a locational tie to the Hutch company and grew up riding Trickstars. I even named my son Hutch!
