1998 Haro Monocoque

Here is my custom built and painted Haro Monocoque. I purchased it as a red frame only and built it up as you see it now over a period of about 3 months in 2010. More details in long description.

This bike started out as a regular Haro Monocoque (if you can call any monocoque frame relgular!).

I raced one of the handmade Series 2 Haro Monocoques back in the mid to late 1990s and built this one up partly as a reminder of all the fun I had racing the yellow one, and also as a theme bike with the Warbird/Warhawk theme.

I've done all the build and paint work myself, and will be stripping it back down for some better (more detailed) airbrushing at some stage in the future. It took me close to 3 month to complete the current build, mostly because it took a long time to get my hands on a lot of the parts here in Australia. I ended up sourcing a lot from the USA and having them shipped over to Australia. Most parts are NOS.
