1986 Haro Sport

This is the bike that only showed up in a few Wilkerson magazine photos in '86 and maybe a Mushroom grip advertisement with hazy pink under a shady gray print ad.  ...I think it was a Mushroom ad.  Definitely could see the pink Peregrines and it stuck in my head.  I ordered an 86 Sport in Spring of 86 and asked for the pink Peregrines then changed it a day later to turquoise.  Always wondered what pink could have looked like.  Here is my answer.

This bike is another survivor Sport core.  This summer I cleaned it up and it received its pink Tuf Neck and re-powdered Haro-pink bars that have been waiting around for a while.  The pink wheels are rider and this bike was meant to be ridden.  Most parts OG and original to the donor 86 sport. Seatclamp and post repop from around 2013.  The tires, grips and cables are new 2023.

This color combo has really grown on me.  An awesome blast from '86!
